What is RollCall's photographic style?

Our mini photoshoots produce studio-quality portraits bursting with personality. We frame each subject from the chest up (think: headshots) and use prompts that evoke an array of expressions – serious, contemplative, silly, or sweet – to deliver timeless and authentic portraits. Say goodbye to forced smiles and stiff posing. Silliness is encouraged. Our carefully curated background colors are available at no additional charge. #NOFAKESMILES

My student missed Photo Day! Does RollCall offer make-up dates?

We do our best to ensure every student in your school is photographed. We do offer make-up and retakes on a school-by-school basis. If you know your student will be absent on photo day, they will be automatically included on the scheduled make-up day.

SIBLING SESSION FAQs

Do you offer sibling sessions?

We are family photographers, so we LOVE to capture siblings with our cameras! Your school decides whether to offer this type of session or not. Scheduling around regular school hours, securing space, and staffing all factor into the decision. Please ask your school’s Photo Day volunteer or refer to their email announcement regarding Photo Day at your school. Can I hire you to take my kids’ portraits? 

If your school isn’t offering sibling sessions on your child’s Photo Day, contact us to be the first to hear about any upcoming mini-sessions RollCall is planning in your area. These sell out quickly, so get on the list to grab your spot!

PROOFING GALLERY FAQs

When will I see the proofing gallery?

Expect to hear from us about two weeks after Photo Day. We pour through thousands of digital files after Photo Day. Our approach to making the best selections is intentional, which sets us apart from other school portrait photography companies. This process takes up to two weeks from when we pack up and leave your school.

As small business owners, we appreciate your patience and support. We are confident you will see how much care we put into this work, which starts once your child steps in front of our cameras.

How will I know when the proofing galleries are ready?

As long as we have your contact information (either provided by the school or by you directly), as soon as your child’s school portrait proofs are ready for viewing, we will send a notification by email and SMS. Please add help@rollcallportraits.com to your safe senders list.

Do I have to purchase a package before I view my child's images?

RollCall doesn't require a session fee or payment before your school's photo day. We earn our wages from the sale of images through our online store. Ensure you are registered to access your child's secure gallery to place your order. 

How do I view my child’s proofing gallery?

If you registered directly with RollCall, then you will receive an email and text message with a unique hyperlink that takes you to your proofing galleries. You will be prompted to create an account and password which gains you access to galleries for those children registered to your household.

I have more than one child. How do I access portraits of my other children?

As long as you registered with RollCall— or your school provided us with parent contact information— then you should receive an email or text message with a unique hyperlink that takes you to ALL OF YOUR CHILDREN’S proofing galleries. We highly recommend creating an account and password for quick access to our online galleries. You can do that right here.

Is there a deadline for placing an order? 

There are no deadlines for ordering, but to take advantage of our coupons, place your order before the end of the school year (June 30th).

What is RollCall's Return Policy?

All digital sales are final. We take great care in our packaging and products. However, if your order arrives damaged, don't hesitate to contact us.

Best Deal FAQs

I have multiple children. Can I view their galleries and make a purchase together?

More than half of the packages in our store were designed for parents with more than one child attending any given school.

Each child is assigned a separate access code. Either click on the link in the email that was sent to you or enter their individual codes HERE

Can I only choose more than one color background on a single pose package?

No. Packages A, B, and C will be printed using a single image/pose.

What should I order? 

Family packages are available and offer the biggest value. See the “Family Choice” option for savings on high-resolution digital files. Our multi-pose mix and match Packages D, E, F, or G are perfect for families seeking professional-quality prints. Each comes with various prints, including one or more stunning 11x14-sized prints— perfect for framing or gift-giving. These packages include a special option to add all the digitals to your order for a low price!

Is retouching available?

Yes! Retouching includes removing minor issues such as bruises, cuts, scratches, boogers, flyaways, acne, and some glasses glare. Don't hesitate to contact us directly if your request requires more advanced retouching, such as removing braces and clothing adjustments, and we will send you a quote. Contact us HERE.

If you want to add retouching to your order within your child's proofing gallery, click on the Individual Products tab at the top of the screen. Next, click Buy This Photo on the image you would like retouched. On the next screen, in the Offerings column on the right, scroll down to Other and select Retouching. After you place your order, RollCall will contact you to discuss your retouching request. Your order will not be processed until you approve the retouching.

Can I crop the photos?

Yes. You will find the option to crop your photos in your shopping cart. If you crop the image, the selected area is enlarged. Choose Crop & Edit Photo in your cart in the left-hand column under the image you want to crop. Then, under Photo Effect, select black and white. Then click Save Image.  

I only see color images in my child's proofing gallery. Can I order black and white copies?

Of course. You have the option to customize the type of print output for your images during checkout. Select Crop & Edit Photo in your cart in the left-hand column under the image you want to convert to black and white. Under Photo Effect, select black and white. Then click Save Image. If you have saved your photo effect correctly, the image preview will convert to black and white.

Will the watermark be removed from purchased downloads and prints?

A watermark is only used to protect our work against illegal downloads. It will not appear on any purchased digital downloads or photographic prints.

How long does shipping take?

Depending on the shipping options offered and selected, print orders will be delivered to your school or your doorstep 3-4 weeks after placing an order.
